I photograph clients throughout the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area. Fresh48 sessions take place in hospitals, while lifestyle and family sessions are typically done at your home or an outdoor location we choose together.
-
I recommend booking Fresh48 sessions during your second trimester and family or lifestyle sessions at least 4–6 weeks in advance to ensure availability.

My style is lifestyle-focused — natural, family-led, emotive, and unposed. I aim to capture the real, fleeting moments that tell your family’s story just as it is.

You’ll receive your full edited gallery within 1–2 weeks of your session via a private online gallery where you can download and share your images.

fresh48 FAQs
-
Fresh48 photography is a session that takes place within the first 24–48 hours after your baby is born, typically at your birth hospital. It’s designed to capture the raw, beautiful emotions of those first hours together — wrinkled toes, sleepy yawns, and your first cuddles.
-
I serve all major hospitals in the area including Christ Hospital, Good Samaritan, Bethesda North, UC Medical Center, St. Elizabeth, and more. Let me know your hospital at booking and I’ll take care of the details.
-
Fresh48 sessions are best scheduled during your second trimester. We’ll pencil in your due date, and once baby arrives, fill out our labor notification form linked below and we’ll finalize the session date + time.
-
Nope! My Fresh48 sessions are entirely natural and unposed. I’ll document the environment just as it is — the hospital bed, the bassinet, the snuggles. It’s all about keeping it genuine.
-
No worries at all — I stay flexible around your delivery window. Once baby arrives, just let me know and I’ll schedule our session within 48 hours.
-
For Fresh48 photos, comfort is key. Choose soft, neutral colors like cream, oatmeal, taupe, or muted earth tones — these photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your connection. Pieces with texture (like waffle-knit robes, linen, or cozy sweaters) can add subtle depth without being distracting. Think relaxed and easy: a robe, button-up, or loungewear you feel good in. Partners can keep it simple with a solid tee or henley and joggers. Baby doesn’t need much — a swaddle, plain onesie, or even just a diaper and hospital blanket is perfect for capturing those raw, real first moments.
-
Absolutely not! Plenty of sessions I do are baby-only sessions. This is totally up to you to decide if you'd like to be involved in the session or if you'd rather just rest and recover. Either way is totally fine!
labor notification
what to do once you go into labor?
When you arrive at the hospital and are admitted in labor, please reach out via email/text and fill out the labor notification form below. You have the option of having your session be baby only, or include parents or siblings if you choose. Most sessions are 45 minutes and are completed the day after delivery or morning of discharge.

lifestyle FAQs
-
A in-home lifestyle newborn session is a photography session that occurs in the comfort of your own home and is aimed at capturing the precious first days of your newborn's life. It is a lifestyle type of session that focuses on the simplicity of family connection & uses natural posing & lighting to highlight your baby and family exactly as you are. No fluff, awkward posing, or flashing lightbulbs.
-
In-home lifestyle newborn sessions generally occur within 7-30 days after birth. Pending extenuating circumstances, this generally captures your newborn in those precious first weeks of life. It's amazing how quickly these little ones can change and before you know it, they'll look completely different in a manner of weeks!
-
Your gallery will come with a minimum of 50 images, generally much more. You will the ability to download high resolution images from your gallery and will also receive the option to have me personally create and design an album if you'd like me to take this process off your hands!

-
I know newborns can be unpredictable so I don’t like to place a time limit on our session, but most sessions last about 60–90 minutes. That gives us plenty of time to capture both the quiet in-between moments and the joyful chaos of life together.
-
No need to deep clean! Just tidy up the areas where we’ll shoot (usually the bedroom, nursery, and living room). Natural light is key, so I may open blinds or shift a few things around.
-
Choose comfortable, neutral-toned outfits you feel good in. Avoid loud patterns or logos — soft, cohesive colors work best for a timeless feel.

family FAQs
-
Family sessions are fun, relaxed, and movement-driven. I’ll guide you into natural moments — cuddles, tickles, running wild — to capture connection and personality.
-
Most family sessions are done outdoors at a local park during morning or evening golden hour in the Cincinnati/NKY area. When your session is booked we can work together to choose a location that works best for all of us.
-
Immediate family members are always welcome — parents and kids. If you’d like to include extended family, we can plan a custom session to make space for everyone.
-
Don’t worry! I expect wiggly, wild, and wonderfully real kids. My sessions are kid-led and pressure-free — we’ll get beautiful moments no matter what.
-
I occasionally offer seasonal mini sessions (like fall or holiday). Be sure to join my email list or follow me on Instagram for announcements and booking info.
-
I recommend choosing neutral, earthy, or soft tones that complement one another without being too matchy. Also, texture is everything! Think cozy knits, linen textures, or flowy dresses — pieces that move well and feel like you. Avoid logos, bright neons, or busy patterns, as they can distract from the connection we’re capturing. For Cincinnati family sessions in the spring or fall, layering is a great way to add texture and flexibility for changing temps. I’m always happy to review outfit options or help you style the session to match your vision!
